Vijay, who has already started to shoot for his next film which is being directed by Atlee of Raja Rani fame, is said to be very apprehensive about choosing the title of the film.

Vijay’s next release would be Chimbu Deven-directed Puli, billed as a fantasy adventure, whose first-look was released recently. The film’s audio would be released in August and the film is likely to hit the screens in September.

Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika and Nandita Swetha besides Sudeep play significant roles in the film which has music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Samantha and Amy Jackson play Vijay’s heroine in the film. As Vijay plays triple roles in the film including that of a cop, the crew is said to be thinking seriously about naming the film as Moondru Mugam, the title of a super-duper hit Rajini film which released in the early eighties. However, the crew is said to be apprehensive in naming the film so as they fear backlash from Rajini’s die-hard fans.

When they approached Sathya Movies, makers of the Rajini-starrer, they put the ball back in Rajini’s court telling them that they won’t object to using the title for Vijay’s film provided Rajinikanth didn’t object to it.

Even as efforts are on to get Rajini’s consent, Vijay is apprehensive of what would be Rajini fans’ reactions as they haven’t forgotten Vijay’s idea t o release his Sachein along with Rajini’s Chandramukhi many years back.
