Puli is Vijay’s dedication to his son

Interestingly, Vijay agreed to do Puli as soon as Chimbudevan finished his narration mainly because of his son Sanjay who is a big fan of fantasy films and wanted to see his father in such a role since a long time.

Vijay immediately nodded and asked Chimbudevan to meet producers PT Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens who came on board to fund the project.

Puli is currently under post production with a lot of VFX works yet to be completed. National award winning special effects designer RC Kamalakannan of Magadheera and Naan Ee fame is working on it.
