No Samantha and Tamannah in Sandakozhi 2

Vishal has clarified that neither Samantha nor Tamannah was approached to play the lead heroine role in Sandakozhi 2 which will begin from August.

Lingusamy is working on the pre-production work of the film and giving final touches to the script. The team earlier approached Akshara Haasan to play the female lead but she reportedly turned down the offer.

The final cast and crew is yet to be finalized. Interestingly, Lingusamy revealed at the press meet of Rajini Murugan that Imman will compose music for the film.
