Hansika shoots for song sequence with Simbu for Vaalu

Even as it has been announced that Simbu’s Vaalu would be releasing in theatres on 17th July along with Dhanush-Kajal Aggarwal’s Maari, the makers of the film have been shooting non-stop for a song featuring the lead pair and ex-flames Simbu and Hansika.

It may be recalled that it was during the shoot of the film towards end-2013 that Simbu and Hansika fell out with each other. The film, subsequently, got delayed due to a variety of reasons. Though it was said that the shoot of the film was wrapped up, a song featuring Simbu and Hansika remained to be shot.

Director Vijay Chander has commenced the shoot of the song which would be added to the film’s final version before it is certified by the Censors. Doubts were cast by a few industry folks whether Hansika would agree to shoot for the song and whether she would make herself available to attend the promotional events in connection with the film’s release.

“My Vaalu is to release on 17th July. Besides my personal issues with Simbu, I’d shoot for the remaining song with him and would be readily available to attend the promotional events of the film. After all it’s my film too!” Hansika said a few days back and has reportedly started shooting for the remaining song.
