Mani Ratnam’s next with Karthi is a gangster film

Reliable sources in the industry reveal us that Mani Ratnam’s next yet untitled project with Karthi is a gangster drama.

As soon as reports came that Karthi will star in Mani Ratnam’s next, there were rumors that Mani will be reviving the spy thriller he planned to direct withNagarjuna, Mahesh Babu and Aishwarya Rai.

Now, sources say this is a new script Mani has conceived after the success of Ok Kanmani at the box office.

Karthi is currently busy with Kashmora and another untitled film with Tamannah and Nagarjuna. He will reportedly start Mani’s film from early 2016 after his current assignments are over.
