Vijay’s Puli Intro Song budget 5 crore

What is bigger than a high budget film? A high budget song, the reason being, a producer can actually dish out a brand new movie with the capital he spends on just a song. The latest such song in Kollywood is the introduction song for Ilayathalapathy Vijay in his upcoming movie Puli, being directed by Chimbu Deven.
The cast and crew of Puli  is currently stationed at Thalakonam and according to sources, a grand village like set has been erected by the art director Muthuraj for the opening song. The cost for erecting such an imposing set is estimated to be around a whopping 5 crore rupees. The costly song will reportedly have hundreds of dancers across the country. It is also said that unlike usual Vijay introduction songs, this song in Puli  will have other artists from the film shaking their leg along with the Kaththi  hero. But is it fair to be extremely lavish for just a song? Well, sources close to the project has claimed that the end product will be worth spending for as the audience will encounter a never seen before experience. Meanwhile, it is reported that Vijay will be lending his voice for a ‘gaana’ song in his 59th film which will be directed by Atlee. GV Prakash, who earlier collaborated with Vijay for Thalaivaa will once again make Vijay to croon a song similar to that of ‘Vaangana Vanakkangana’ which became a favourite among fans.
