Idam Porul Eval and India Pakistan to be released during May
Seenu Ramasamy who has directed critically acclaimed films like Thenmerku Paruvakatru and Neerparavai is now directing a film titled Idam Porul Eval.
Vijay Sethupathi who donned the lead role in his first film and Vishnu who donned the lead role in his second film have the shared the screen in Idam Porul Eval. There were some controversies because Manisha Yadav who paired with Vijay Sethupathi created some problems in the initial stages itself.
After this, Seenu Ramasamy removed her from the film and made Nandithato do her portions. The shooting was completed. At that juncture Vijay Sethpathi’s film Vanmam was released. This was a flop at the box office.
So it was decided to release Idam Porul Eval at the right time. It was decided to release the film during the last week of March. Since Uthama Villain and Komban are being released during this period, it has been decided to release the film on 1st May.
Similarly, Vijay Anthony had announced that he will be releasing his film India Pakistan during the Christmas season last year. Because of the theatre problems, he decided to release the film during the month of January.
He also started telecasting his songs in all the channels to promote his film. Again because of theatre problems he kept on postponing the release of his film. Now he has decided to release the film during the month of May.
