Anirudh to score music of Ajith’s next film with Veeram Siva
After getting to score the music of a Vijay-starrer quite early in his career, music director Anirudh Ravichander has now been signed up to score the music of AjithKumar’s next film which would be directed by Siva ofSiruthai and Veeram fame.
Anirudh, who debuted as music director in films with the 2012 Dhanush–Shruti Haasan starrer 3 which had the world-famous Why This Kolaveri Di number in it, has become a ‘hot property’ in Kollywood in about three years and got to score the music of Vijay’s lastest releaset Kaththi which turned out to be a hit film.
Anirudh missed by a whisker the chance to score the music of Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Yennai Arindhaal which has film-maker Gautham Vasudev Menon re-uniting with his old-favourite Harris Jayaraj. It now turns out that Anirudh has been approached by Siva to score the music of Ajith’s next film which he would be directing.
Ajith and Siva have struck up good friendship ever since Veeram, which brought them together for the first time in January last year, released. Set in an urban backdrop unlike Veeram, Siva’s new film with Ajith in the lead is yet to be titled and would go to the floors after Ajith completes his 2-month long break from acting in films.
