Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam in trouble due to Uttama Villain losses

Distributors in Tamil cinema have been long-known for making unjustifiable demands just before the film’s release citing losses in the actor/director’s previous box office record.

The same has happened now as a chunk of distributors have joined hands to hinder the release of Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam until they get compensated for Uttama Villain losses.

Trade analysts say the makers have arrived at a solution and the film will release on July 3rd as announced. Distributors have agreed to drop the demands since Papanasam is produced by a different production house
