Kajal Aggarwal, the actress who turned 30 last Friday but looks young enough to continue as a heroine for a few more years, has asserted that she won’t turn down any offer to play an on-screen mother provided she is offered a script as powerful as that of the recently-released and successful Kaaka Muttai.

Kajal was addressing questions from newsmen at a meet-the-press event held yesterday in connection with the impending release of her Maari opposite Dhanush.

This is Kajal Aggarwal’s first film with the national award-winning actor who is on a winning streak which started with last year’s super-successful Velaiyilla Pattathari.

“Yes, of course; I’d love to play an on-screen mother if the script is as powerful as the one in Kaaka Muttai,” Kajal responded when asked if she would take up mother’s role in films. To another query on her fee for films, she asserted that she was only demanding and getting the fee in films in various languages in accordance with her talents.

Discounting rumours that she was throwing ‘party’ to heroes to grab chances opposite them in films, she said that no hero was dumb enough to succumb to a party.

When a scribe asked her about her Tamil fluency, she conceded that she had only recently started learning the language. “I can manage some Tamil right now,” she said.

Kajal added that superstar Rajinikanth was her all-time favourite hero. When scribes asked about her marriage, she said “I’m not in love with anybody; if any such thing occurs, I’d reveal it boldly.

I’m not so particular about my man’s native place. I only want him to be honest and show understanding and adaptability to suit my professional needs!”
