G.V. Prakash Kumar, the music director-turned-hero, appears to be a firm-believer in naming his films with odd titles.

Even as he is getting ready for the release in theatres of his second film as hero in Trisha Illana Nayanthara, it has been announced that his next film has been titled as Ketta Paiyanda Indha Karthi, which is a take-off on the famous dialogue by Rajini in his super-duper hit Mullum Malarum in the late seventies.

The baby-faced music director has been making his best efforts to balance his career in the twin fields of music composing as well as acting. The shoot of Pencil, which was to be his debut film as hero (opposite Sri Divya), has been wrapped up long back but has been facing problems in releasing in theatres.

He went ahead and completed Darling, the thriller, which released early this year and became his debut film as a hero.

‘Kayal’ fame Anandhi plays his hero in Trisha Illana Nayanthara which also hasManisha Yadav as the second heroine. Yesteryear’s popular heroine Simran plays a pivotal role in the film while Priya Anand makes a ‘guest appearance’ in it.

G.V. Prakash Kumar’s next film has now been titled as Ketta Paiyanda Indha Karthi, which sounds similar to Rajini’s dialogue of Ketta Paiyan Saar Indha Kaali in Mullum Malarum.

Vetrimaaran pens the screenplay while Raja Rani fame Atlee pens the dialogues of Ketta Paiyanda Indha Karthi which has music by the debuting duo of Shankar and Gunaa.

Unconfirmed reports say that G.V. Prakash Kumar’s next film may be titled as Baashha Engira Antony; it remains to be seen whether superstar Rajini’s fans would agree to this title!
